My sisters' weddings. If it is only one day, my oldest sister's wedding.

The first: Stars, Letter Grades, Nothing? How do you rate books? 

The best I am able to use at the moment is the  smiling emoji (😊). I considered using a capital 'C', but I didn't know if anyone would understand that choice. 

The second: How long have you been blogging? And has your blog changed over time?

I had this blog since June of 2016 . I didn't think I would have had it for this long. In fact, I thought I would have quickly forgotten about it. I most certainly hope that it changed (for the better).

Sunday Post #110: Possible New Feature

Hello All ! 

I am hoping to add a new feature to my blog.

So, I would see posts all through out my Instagram from an account called "PaperWrldShop". It is a journal/scrapbooking supply site. I would look at the posts lot. Then I looked through the supply collection on the site and put in my first order. I received that order on Friday.

WWBC #32: Shopping and Sports

It's an odd combination, but I'll make it work.

July 10th = Do you enjoy shopping? why or why not?

Online shopping I actually do enjoy. It's like "Oh, someone sent me a gift".

As for in store, no. Especially not clothes shopping. I am probably the only woman in America that doesn't like shopping for clothes. It just feels like the security guards are watching from the cameras the whole time.

TMST #28: Hobbies During the Pandemic

 

Hello All 

This topic I was looking forward to answering. I am also happy that I don't have to combine it with other topics.

This week's question/topic: Have you kept any hobbies that you started during the pandemic?

That is when I started with fluid painting. My first attempts were really ( how do I put this) not good. The biggest issue I had with it was the& consistency of the paint. I still have a problem with consistency. Only now it is with the result. I use the same tools, but I can't seem to get a one piece remotely to others.

WWBC #31: Museums and Social Media

Hello All !  I missed one topic that I wanted to answer, as I've done other times, I am adding it to this week's topic.

May 29th: Museums/Galleries I've Visited/Want to Visit 

On multiple occasions I have visited The Henry Ford Museum (Dearborn, MI) and The DIA (Detroit Institute of Arts). I recommend both places.

One particular museum I would like to visit is Chicago's Field Museum.

This week: My Thoughts on Social Media

If I was asked this a year ago, I would have answered that social media could have been a blessing. Now, I am going with it is (more often than not) toxic. Of course, that is not the fault of the tool itself.

 6/4: What outdoor activities do you like to do in the spring/summer?

I mostly enjoy barbecues and bonfires. I would say going to the beach, but that is rare.

6/11: Have your reading interests changed over time?

In elementary school, I liked to read Babysitters Club books and Goosebumps. During Highschool, I didn't like to read unless I Had had no choice. Now, I like to read romance novels. So I guess the short answer would be  ..... "No" ? 😁 

6/25: Mid-Year Check-In: What books have you loved so far in 2024?)

WWBC #29: Double Topic Week

 

It has been a while since I posted for the Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge. I actually wanted to answer last week's topic but obviously I missed it. So I thought that I would do this week. 

Last week's topic: Books on my TBR list the Longest 

I was able to clear my to be read list this past November. I believe, however, that the book on it the long was "Game Breaker (Portland Storm, #9)" by Catherine Gayle. I had wanted to read it since August of 2016 and finally did so in April of 2023. Of course I started a new TBR list in January. Thankfully, it is not as long.

This week's topic: A Moment I Wish Could Relive

I would like to relive each of my sisters' weddings. The four events were unique, mainly because of the venues, but still. I guess, if I could only pick one, it would be my eldest sister's wedding. She had to set the date three times and it just seemed it should have lasted longer.

TMST #25: Travels

 Hello. Here is my "tell"  for this week. 

The topic/question is Where would you like to travel?

I would like to travel to Ireland. First Dublin because it is the national capital , and then where ever my ancestors are from. Unfortunately, I have yet to discover where that would be. As for a more realistic answer, I would like to travel the Continental United States.
