Sunday Post #14: Procrastination

Many of my posts have been labled as "belated" due to my procrastination with my blog. It has gotten to the point where I had to be notified by people in charge of blog tours. (I apologize. I love being a part of different types of blog book tours.)  I even put off writing this week's Sunday Post simply because I couldn't remember the term used for blogging. At first, I thought it would help if I kept a list of tour dates that I am scheduled. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough. Now my intention is to schedule the post as soon as I receive the materials for each tour.

  1. Good luck w/ scheduling, I think a lot of us have that problem at times! Blogging can be exhausting in its own way, keeping up with everything! Hope your reads are good this week!

  2. Scheduling is your friend. :)
It's a life (blog) saver when you just can't be bothered or have too much on outside of the interwebs.

  3. I hope that works for you. I format the shell of the post for my blog when I get the book. Then I just have to enter in the review after reading. I don't do many cover reveal, excerpt spotlight things. I do those on the facebook page not the blog. I try to do those when I receive them. I have a google calendar that all of us on the blog have so we know the schedule. I have some things scheduled months in advance. I have stuff in 2019 already. Anne - Books of My Heart

  4. I forget things too. I make my normal post on Sunday and then all the tour posts the same day so I do sunday to sunday that way I have the week done. Good luck!

  5. I tend to forget too, I do as your planning to nd schedule it ready to go and I try to review as soon as I've read it. I pretty much do all tours when I get time FIRST before I start any new posts so it's out of the way. I have also slowed down in being part of tours. Good luck! I'm sure you'll figure out your own style.

  6. I totally understand you. I had a calendar and wrote down all the dates and blog stuff that I needed to know. It's easier that way.
