Sunday Post #44: February 2020

For the shortest month, February seems to be going by slowly. Maybe it's just me.  On the bright side, I was out of work less than two months. How has this month treating you? I hope all is well.

WWBC #6: Types of Exercise I Enjoy

Admittedly, I do not exercise as much as I need it. On the rare occasion that I exercise, I just spend twenty minutes on the treadmill. During warm weather, I will go for a twenty-minute walk.

In 2012, I used Wii for yoga and Zumba Fitness. That is the type of exercise I actually enjoyed.

I will post my next WWBC on March 25th.

Release Blitz: Wild at Heart

WAH - RB banner.jpg

Wild at Heart, book two in the Simple Wild series by USA Today bestselling author, K.A. Tucker, is live!

Wild at Heart FOR WEB.jpg

Calla Fletcher returns to Toronto a different person, struggling to find direction and still very much in love with the rugged bush pilot she left behind. When Jonah arrives on her doorstep with a proposition she can’t dismiss, she takes the leap and rushes back to Alaska to begin their exciting future together.
But Calla soon learns that even the best intentions can lead to broken promises, and that compromise comes with a hefty price—a log cabin in interior rural Alaska that feels as isolating as the western tundra.
With Jonah gone more than he’s home, one neighbor who insists on transforming her into a true Alaskan, and another who seems more likely to shoot her than come to her aid, Calla grapples with forging her own path. In a world with roaming wildlife that has her constantly watching over her shoulder and harsh conditions that stretch far beyond the cold, dark, winter months, just stepping outside her front door can be daunting.
This is not the future Calla had in mind, leaving her to fear that perhaps she is doomed to follow in her mother’s fleeing footsteps after all.

Sunday Post #43: February's Single Swag .... 500 Posts

I just remembered that I never made my February Singlesswag Unboxing Post.

My fifth Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge Post marked my 500th blog post. Since I actually deleted many past posts, the one marked 400 obviously no longer has that title. I am at 500 anyway, which I really didn't think I would reach.

The Irresistible Attraction series by USA Today bestselling author Willow Winters, will be available in a complete collection featuring 3 full length novels, releasing February 17th. Check out the gorgeous cover!

IRRESISTIBLE_ATTRACTION

From USA Today bestselling author Willow Winters comes the conclusion to the heart-wrenching, edge-of-your-seat gripping, romantic suspense trilogy, Irresistible Attraction. Sometimes you meet someone, maybe meet isn't the right word. You don't even have say hello for this to happen. You simply pass by them and everything in your world changes forever. Chills flow all the way from the crook in your neck where you imagine he'd kiss you, all the way down, with only a single glance. I know you know what I'm referring to. The moment when something inside of you ignites to life, recognizing their other half that's been gone for far too long. It burns hot, destroying any hope that it's only a coincidence, and that life will go back to what it was. These moments are never forgotten. That's only with a single glance. I can tell you what a single touch will do. It will destroy you and everything you thought you knew. I felt all of this with Jase Cross, every flick of the flames that roared inside of me. I knew he'd be my downfall, and I was determined to be his just the same. Irresistible Attraction is the complete collection of the USA Today bestselling, Irresistible Attraction series.

Meet Willow Winters: Willow Winters is so happy to be a USA Today, Wall Street Journal and #1 Contemporary Best Selling Author! Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two. In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!

[500th Post] WWBC #5: Books I Re-read or Want to Re-read

There are many books that have parts that I read over and over again.

1.) The Duke of Ruin by Darcy Burke

2.) A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab

..just to name a couple

So far there has been only one book that I would like to completely re-read. The book is called Embraced by Love. That book is written by Susan Brockmann, and it was the first romance novel I read.

That's it for this week.

Cover Reveal: Reborn Yesterday

A timeless love story with bite.

It was a night like any other for funeral home director Ginny Lynn, until the
exceptionally handsome—and unfortunately deceased—young man on her
embalming table sat up, opened his emerald eyes and changed the course of her life
forever, making her feel quite fluttery while he was at it.

Humans aren’t supposed to know Jonas Cantrell, or any vampire, exists. It’s kind of a
major rule. Despite his instantaneous bond with perfectly peculiar Ginny, he has no
choice but to erase her memories of their one and only meeting.

That was the plan. Before a reluctant Jonas can wipe Ginny’s mind clean, she reveals
a secret that brings their worlds crashing together. Human and vampire. Past and
present. Darkness and light. And while their love is strictly forbidden, it might be the
only thing that can save them…

About Tessa

Tessa Bailey is originally from Carlsbad, California. The day after high school graduation, she packed her yearbook, ripped jeans and laptop, driving cross-country to New York City in under four days.

Her most valuable life experiences were learned thereafter while waitressing at K-Dees, a Manhattan pub owned by her uncle. Inside those four walls, she met her husband, best friend and discovered the magic of classic rock, managing to put herself through Kingsborough Community College and the English program at Pace University at the same time. Several stunted attempts to enter the workforce as a journalist followed, but romance writing continued to demand her attention.

She now lives in Long Island, New York with her husband of eleven years and seven-year-old daughter. Although she is severely sleep-deprived, she is incredibly happy to be living her dream of writing about people falling in love.

Sunday Post #42: Regarding Dreams

I was going to make my February Singles Swag Unboxing this week's post. I even made a video. However I decided against it. I had thought of a different topic.

Have you ever had dreams that even during the dream you have no idea what is really happening? I always do. For that reason, I don't put much stock into them. The most sense I can make of my dreams are places, people, or things.

A recurring dream setting for me is school. I would either be repeating my senior year or I would be in science class.
When I looked up what school for its symbolism, one possible interpretation was inadequacy. Sure, that made sense to me, and it wasn't a surprise. It is just a matter what to do with that information.

WW - RB banner

Weekend Wife, an all-new flirty and hilarious stand-alone rom com from New York Times bestselling author Erin McCarthy, is available now!

WeekendWife FOR WEB

Billionaire businessman in need of a fake fiancée…

It should be the easiest job ever for an out-of-work actress, right?
All I have to do is pose as Grant Caldwell (the Third)’s fiancé for a fancy-pants weekend in the Hamptons. Easy. Wear designer clothing and sip champagne? Don’t mind if I do. Flirting with Grant? It’s so delicious I should be paying him.
Nothing can go wrong as long as I can just keep my hands off of him.
But that’s the hard part. And I do mean hard.
Because Grant is sexy.
And bossy.
And surprisingly sweet, a real rarity in his pretentious family.
Oops. I’m not as good at faking it as I thought. Or maybe they call this method acting. Because it’s getting harder to figure out where my character ends and I begin…
It just might be the role of a lifetime.
