Sunday Post #18: Has Procrastination Become Neglect?

When I would get a tour schedule e-mail, I would make a make a note of my posting date. As you can see, November 10th was a day with four belated blog posts. This was a result of not even checking when my post date was set. So, what do you think? Continued procrastination or Total neglect of my blog?

  1. I try to keep everything organized on my calendar and color coordinate it but have floundered once or twice. Have a lovely week

  2. I always say why do something right away if you can procrastinate it? Ha ha okay not really, but yeah I'm terrible at procrastinating/ forgetting sometimes...

  3. I think we have periods when it’s just really hard to keep up with everything! I’m not even doing blogtours anymore for fear of forgetting about them!
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

  4. I have a calendar that I'm hit or miss with keeping updated as sometimes it isn't to hand when I sign up for stuff. I've stopped getting caught out by creating a 'draft' and setting a schedule date (without hitting publish) for the date the post is due. That way I just need to go to my draft folder and see what's next.

  5. I have started post the day of the tour and usually get all the info with the email and posting it to that day so I don't get overloaded when it comes so they are pre-set. I am still working on this tho.

  6. We all have times when we get out of step. I have the blog calendar in Google which I share with the 3 on my team. We each have our own color and then another for blog tours and another for reveals which I usually only do on facebook. Then in Wordpress, there is a calendar option under posts and I use that as I go along creating shells for posts (everything but the review) and make sure things for the week are scheduled. My style and tools have changed over this year but I keep slowly improving my systems. This time of year is crazy busy though. Anne - Books of My Heart
