Sunday Post #40: Happy New Year and Merry Christmas

Am I a little late for this kind of post? It depends on a person's ethnicity.
The are many cultures in which people celebrate Christmas on January 6th or 7th (possibly later). My family celebrates Christmas on December 25 and January 6th. So today is Christmas Eve once again.

To all who are celebrating this week, I want to say,  "Happy New Year And Merry Christmas".

To everyone, I hope you had a great New Years eve and day.

I am anticipating a busy 2020. I hope everyone has something to look forward to this year.

  1. Merry Christmas! Are you Orthodox? I appreciate you sharing this tradition with us, Thank you. We have always waited for Epiphany before we take down our Christmas Tree and decorations but I can't imagine having two Christmas's!! wow. I am a bad catholic :(

    1. I am Orthodox. My mother is Catholic. I have heard the reason for this Christmas is the Epiphany. Or it could just be a calendar thing. Thank you for visiting and commenting.

  2. Happy New Year and Merry Christmas to you as well! My family does not celebrate Christmas on the 6th--instead you'll find me at work. I would not mind the extra holiday though. I hope you have a great week! I imagine it will be a busy month for us as well.

  4. Happy New Year And Merry Christmas! We celebrate January 6th as the Epiphany. When we were little we'd get a small present under our beds on this day from the three wise men.
    Enjoy your week!

  5. Happy Christmas Eve :)
We are atheist so we just do the commercial Christmas thing on December 25th.

Wishing you a great reading week, and a Happy New Year 🥳

Looks like you had a great week!

Seeing your unboxing was fun. I've never heard of that box before but it looks like they had some good items.
